AkumaMC: our second-pick SMP, in plain facts

Prison was AkumaMC's first gamemode. Now there are seven on one crossplay address, and Survival is one of them. Here's what AkumaMC offers a survival player.

Survival on AkumaMC

Survival is one of AkumaMC's seven gamemodes: the regular Minecraft survival game, played with the server's community. The AkumaMC Discord is the place to meet that community and ask anything about the world.

What classic survival promises is familiarity. Anything you've learned in single player, from your first night in a dirt hut to finding diamonds, carries straight over, which makes it an easy gamemode to bring a new friend into.

Seven gamemodes, one address

AkumaMC began as a Prison server, and Prison is still the first mode it lists. RNG is the most unusual of the seven: a mode built around luck and collecting rather than mining or building.

• PrisonThe original AkumaMC gamemode: an OP Prison with free ranks, 14 themed mines, around 40 custom pickaxe enchants, 10 bosses, gangs, robots and rebirths.
• SkyblockIsland building with a skills system on top, plus bosses, farming and foraging.
• GensA Minecraft gens (generator) gamemode with 49 generator types, islands with teams, upgrades and augments, five grinding skills and 18 global events.
• DungeonsCombat across 20 zones with four heroes at your side (Knight, Archer, Fire Mage and Medic), around 45 sword enchants, companions and the Zone Gambit event. A gamemode on the server, not Mojang's Minecraft Dungeons.
• RNGAkumaMC's own gamemode: roll for rarities and boost your luck, then build collections and climb the leaderboards.
• SurvivalClassic Minecraft survival with the server's community.
• CobblemonPokémon-style creatures through the Cobblemon mod. The AkumaMC Discord has the current join instructions.

Fair play and help

• Anti-cheat: strict.
• Store: everything in the AkumaMC store can also be earned in game.
• Help: through the AkumaMC Discord.
• PvP: a PvP arena with kits and lifesteal, for when you want a fight.

Who can join

Java players connect on any version from 1.8 to 26.3 using web.akumamc.net. Bedrock players use the same address with port 19132, from Windows, iPhone, iPad, Android, Xbox, PlayStation or Switch, and crossplay puts both editions on the same server. AkumaMC's servers are in North America and Europe.

Community and seasons

AkumaMC has been running since 2019. It usually has 1,000+ players online, and more than 55,000 people belong to its Discord, so on Survival there's nearly always someone to trade with, team up with or show a build to.

Its gamemodes run in seasons, and a new season starts every six weeks, so there's always a fresh map coming for anyone who wants to race the crowd from day one.
